After gaining national attention when 65 students and 4 faculty members generously donated their hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths last year, Londonderry High School is getting excited to cut again! The school has started the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Club and is planning to have another cutting event at their winter pep rally on January 11, 2008. So far 113 students and staff members have already pledged to donate at least 8 inches of their long healthy hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths!

Our students and staff are great! This year over 130 students and staff will help others by giving their hair. Two weeks ago the high school donated over 9000 canned goods to our local food pantry. I love Londonderry!!!!

133 Donors today in one school!
Several hundred images were taken by Londonderry Hometown Online News High School intern Kristin Tejada. Well worth the look with hundreds of before and after photos.

On January 11th 133 LHS students and staff donated over 2,700 inches of hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign, which provides free, real hair wigs for people undergoing and recovering from cancer treatment. But the story does not end there…
This story was set up with individual photos of each student to be used to add to the million inch chain website.
