The Genesis Cancer Care Institute is hosting their 2nd Annual ‘Haircuts for Hope’ benefiting Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Date: Tuesday, August 4, 2009
Time: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Where: Genesis Cancer Care Institute, West Central Park Campus
Davenport, Iowa
Even if your hair doesn’t meet the Pantene Beautiful Lengths requirements, you can still help! This year they will be having a raffle and silent auction. All the money raised will be put into a special fund to help female cancer patients at Genesis while they go through cancer treatment.

Participants will receive a voucher for 20% services a the Regis Salon in Northpark Mall.

You should go to other states to let more people be able to participate in this event. Becasue not everyone can go to a diffrent state to just cut hair. Beacuse I live live in New York, so it is difficult for me, but I really want to donate my hair.

Hi Cari,
Thanks for inquiring about where you can donate your hair. Please keep in mind that most salons will cut your hair if you tell them you’re donating. You can donate your hair outside of a cutting event whenever you want!
Once you donate, place your dry ponytail, kept intact with an elastic band, in a sealed zipper-lock bag. Then place the plastic bag in a padded or plastic envelope. Include your full name and return address and send to:
